Abbie, Dave, and The Family Dog

Abbie and Dave are getting married later in the year and wanted to go ahead and have an engagement session. They had one particular image in mind of the two of them with their dog that they wanted to use for their wedding invitations. So, we headed out to the famous battery at the end of Charleston’s peninsula, hung a chalk board around their dog’s neck with the date of their wedding written on it, and then proceeded to flail about in hopes of beating out the squirrels in the battle for the dog’s attention. We found ourselves winning out a second or two here and there, which was just enough to get the right shots. This is a great example of how you can include your pet in your engagement session in creative ways. Once we got the shots with their dog they had a friend take over while we took Abbie and Dave for a walk around the city to capture them alone. Check out the results from the day:
