Jason Flies Half Way Around The World To Marry Kelly

We first had the pleasure of getting to know Kelly and Jason when we photographed their engagement session in downtown Charleston, SC earlier this year. We spent a while with them having a drink and some snacks before heading out to stroll the city. We learned that Jason is a pilot…..in Australia, so he has to cover some ground, and some water, and some more ground and water to get to Kelly. All engagement sessions are special, but we knew the importance of this time they had together considering the distance between them. The result was one of our favorite engagement sessions to date.

Several months later we were very excited to see them both again and to this time photograph their wedding day. Kelly was as beautiful as ever and Jason still had the smile on his face we’d left him with some months before. This time there were a few more Australians around to keep us all company. Kelly and Jason were married at St. Luke’s Chapel in downtown Charleston and then we all headed out to the carriage house at Magnolia Plantation for a beautiful reception. We also ran into our friends Emily and Will and Will showed us his……well, you’ll see. We experienced fun, excitement to see our friends again, and some of the most beautiful lighting one could ever hope for.
